I have actually caught up with th...Hello anonymous. I have actually caught up with the On the Road movie last week. During the first half and hour I thought it was too self conscious, but I warmed to it after that and thought it was a pretty fine attempt - it could have been pretty bad in other hands. I was pleased that they didn't have Kerouac driving - as he had a 'fear of the wheel' and the Burroughs section was pretty cool. The guy who played Moriarty did a fine job and once I got over thinking that the actor who played Kerouac was Ian Curtis, I was pretty pleased with the portrayals.
